Library Out Loud

With Jane Baker

Library Out Loud is a conversation about any and all things related to the Spokane County Library District. Today’s library is not your grandfather’s library. It offers on-site technology including Wi-Fi, computers and printers, as well as story times to career development. The program will explore, out loud, all the fun and learning of today’s library.
The Library District serves the 275,000 residents of Spokane County, outside of the City of Spokane, with 10 libraries including Airway Heights, Argonne, Cheney, Deer Park, Fairfield, Medical Lake, Moran Prairie, North Spokane, Otis Orchards, and Spokane Valley.
Jane Baker, host, has worked in communication in one form or another all her adult life. For 15 years, she worked in radio broadcasting as a DJ. After earning a master’s degree in organization communication she worked for the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, EWU, and Northern Quest Resort & Casino. Currently, she’s the Communication & Development Director with the Spokane County Library District.
