Host Leroy Payne began cooking more than 25 years ago and became a certified BBQ judge with the Kansas City BBQ Society in 1980. In 2011 he was invited to the Jack Daniels World Champion BBQ Competition, taking second place. He has since gone on to win many competitions and become a grand champion pit master. He’s even cooked backstage at the Gorge in George for some of entertainment’s biggest stars. You’ll enjoy Leroy, his sense of humor, and his practical cooking tips.
